Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics).

Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.
Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Experience with data Entry
• Experience working with with external agencies.
• Experience in technical document editing utilizing MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint)

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of the USN shipboard environment and Navy AEGIS Weapon System;

-Experience in the shipbuilding industry, combat -system testing.

• Knowledge of or experience with US Navy shipboard operations
• Knowledge as AutoCAD operator
• Willingness to work in industrial environment
• Ability to read technical drawings for equipment and mechanical flow diagrams
• Strong organizational skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
