The position of Branch Manager will be based out of our Boston, MA location!


Summary of Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, motivation, direction and training to branch team to serve customers profitably.
  • Meet or exceed total sales, net income and asset management targets.
  • Responsible for branch operations and growth.
  • Knowledgeable and current about markets served, customers, vendors and competitors.
  • Provide superior customer service.

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage P&L operation.
  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of wholesale electrical distribution industry.
  • Demonstrated sales and operations experience in electrical distribution.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Strong communication skills & ability to share information.
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2-4 years leadership experience.

Language Skills:
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively communicate with customers and staff to make an accurate assessment of customer and branch needs.


Mathematical Skills:
Ability to verify and calculate figures such as cost, credit, debit and profit, shortage, loss and understand and interpret financial and or inventory data and reports and balance sheets.


Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, inventory software, internet software and order processing systems.


Reasoning Ability:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form. Ability to use sound judgment and problem solving skills to analyze customer, branch and employee problems and to recommend the proper course of action. Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements.
