As a Business Intelligence Developer and a member of our team you will have great opportunities to grow technically and professionally in multiple data disciplines. In this position, you will be able to support and improve our full stack of BI technologies.

Our Business Intelligence Developer team members utilize different tools, processes, and services as well as work with mentors and peers to understand and improve analytics, reporting, and visualization.

Key duties include:

  • Translate business needs to technical specifications
  • Design, build and deploy BI solutions (e.g. reporting tools, visualizations)
  • Maintain and support data analytics platforms
  • Create tools to store data (e.g. OLAP cubes)
  • Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
  • Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems and data sources
  • Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
  • Develop and update technical documentation
  • Analyzes and assists with upgrades and configuration of reporting tools.
  • Actively promotes a client-oriented approach.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develops moderately complex new applications based on the project requirements document and an understanding of client needs.
  • May lead small projects of limited scope and complexity.
  • Designs user interfaces for web-based applications based on an understanding of data use and client need.
  • Provides user support and solves moderately complex technical problems with legacy applications or systems.
  • Meets with business and technology staff to understand and document system requirements.
  • Thoroughly documents and tests all work produced.
  • Develops programming specifications, logic flow charts and process diagrams.
  • Codes, tests, debugs and refines programs on multiple applications at a moderate difficulty level. May review work performed by junior staff.
  • Continually evaluates work processes and contributes to technology, methodology and process standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related degree
  • 2 years related experience
  • In lieu of education, 6 years related experience
