Roncalli High School on the southside of Indianapolis is hiring a College and Career Counselor for 2023-2024.

Responsibilities:

• Create and conduct individual/group counseling sessions with all students to discuss and formulate college information/plans. This would include assisting the student in developing a list of potential options as opposed to just considering a state university.
• Assist individual students and parents (at the family's request) in the college search application, financial aid and selection process.
• Create, organize and conduct evening sessions for parents and students for all grades throughout the year that focus on specific aspects of college planning, admissions and financial aid.
• Plan and implement college counseling classes and workshops for students in all grades.
• Meet with college representatives who visit Roncalli High School.
• Participate in local college fairs and publicize the events to students and parents.
• Organize and administer the ACT test at Roncalli
• Oversee the SAT/ACT prep program available at RHS.
• Responsible for coordination of the graduation ceremonies and activities leading up to it (cap/gowns, diplomas, practice, etc.)
