In this role, you will work with a variety of industries and clients. You will apply your analytical and critical thinking skills to fully understand a client’s current processes, benchmark against best practices, create a gap analysis and provide improvement recommendations. Your process mapping skills, abilities to diagram process flow charts and your strong writing skills will be valuable in presenting solutions. TECHNICAL

  • Lead planning and implementation of consulting projects
  • Facilitate project scope, goals and deliverables
  • Manage project evaluations and assessment of project results
  • Manage departmental budgets
  • Analyze data, specific business needs, and business scenarios to dictate best outcome
  • Possess strong interview, note taking, and data analysis skills
  • Define project tasks and resource requirements
  • Develop, plan and schedule project timelines
  • Provide advice, suggestions, direction, and support to project team
  • Develop and maintain relationships with client management


PROJECTS

  • Develop comprehensive plans to ensure timely, successful completion of specific projects
  • Ensure projects comply with company strategy and goals
  • Plan, schedule, monitor, and control project timelines
  • Manage and evaluate project staff
  • Oversee projects being led by intermediate level staff
  • Prepare status reports defining project progress, next steps, issues, and solutions
  • Provide constructive feedback to staff
  • Nurture and maintain relationship with clients throughout the business year
  • Promote effective quality assurance in own work and that of others


BUSINESS

  • Contribute to business area assessment and business design
  • Become a primary source of subject matter expertise for MJ and their clients with relative technical focus
  • Proven experience in people management
  • Make associations to develop new business
  • Contribute to client market development
  • Work with Director and team to grow practice
  • As part of our compliance program, all team members are required to follow industry leading data and system security practices.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other discipline
  • Experience in project management, consulting, customer interaction.
  • 8+ years of consulting and project management experience delivering professional services in multiple industries, and business sectors including commercial services, healthcare, financial services, energy, technology, manufacturing state and local government, and K-12 through Higher Education.
  • Knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of project management
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Expert ability to lead and influence staff
  • Possess intermediate knowledge of and ability to work with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Possess ability to write reports clearly and effectively
  • Possess effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel
