CALSTART is seeking to hire a Contract Recruiter to play a critical role to assist leading our recruiting efforts for all US and Internationally-based talent. You will play a key role in providing leadership and direction of the TA function as well as impact our talent retention efforts.

Our Contract Recruiter will also:

• Design and execute our talent acquisition strategies and processes to proactively build and maintain a quality talent pipeline.
• Build a sourcing strategy to attract passive and active candidates for difficult to fill niche roles.
• Analyze current and future organizational workforce needs and implement plans to ensure quality staffing continuity.
• Understand the external labor market conditions and have established networks to build relationships with candidates, agencies, schools, and associations and attract diverse quality talent.
• Screen resumes, evaluates assessment result, and interview candidates to identify potential placement and fit.
• Provide key recruiting metrics in a regular-cadenced reporting to senior leadership and evolve current processes to ensure time-to-hire and hired staff retention is held to high standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 7 or more years of relevant work experience, preferably in the transportation, clean energy, or environmental industries.
• High level of personal initiative to develop and pursue a vision for success
• Driven by a passion for the clean transportation industry
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Well organized with the ability to oversee and manage multiple projects and while delivering expected results
• High level of competency with emerging technologies and technical issues
• Capable of presenting to and working with diverse stakeholder groups, including community-based organizations and equity or environmental justice advocates
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, with a high degree of competence in the use of Applicant Tracking Systems (Clear Company) and LinkedIn Recruiter

Desired Skills and Experience:

• A strong network of relevant industry contacts
• Knowledge of and experience working in the zero-emission transportation technologies, energy, not-for-profit sectors
• International recruiting experience in Europe, Asia, and Latin America

CALSTART includes the complete salary range for our Lead Project Manager ($85,000 to $109,000). We determine starting pay based on education, experience, internal equity, and any other factors relevant to the job. Starting pay for this role will typically be from $97,000 to $103,000.
