AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Full-Time Custodial/Environmental Services Worker at one of our education accounts in Mercer, PA.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean fixtures and furnishings to include dusting, damp wiping, spot cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting
• Operate mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, blowers, shampooers and related environmental service equipment
• Wet-mop rooms, halls and other areas; shampoos rugs and furniture
• Clean vents, fan fixtures, top of windows, doorframes and other high areas using a ladder
• Empty, sanitize, and re-line waste receptacles
• Move furniture and other heavy objects as required
• Clean and disinfect all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors and walls of bathrooms

Requirements:

• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and crouching
• Previous environmental services experience preferred
• Strong work ethic
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
