KBR is looking for an experienced Cloud Analytics Developer to support our asset management analytics business.

The Data Scientist will report to the Senior Manager, Asset Management within the KBR Readiness & Sustainment Solutions (R&SS) business unit.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Data Scientist will be responsible for maintaining, enhancing, testing, and deploying an analytics suite in support of a cloud-based, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) asset management analytics product.

Responsibilities include the following:

  • Develop and update reports and visuals in Power BI
  • Develop visual reports, dashboards, & KPIs in Power BI
  • Design, develop and test Power BI solutions
  • Setup new workspaces and dashboards for new customers
  • Ensure the data solution complies with relevant U.S. Government cybersecurity requirements in collaboration with KBR global security team.
  • Consulting Support. Provide consulting support to customers to align / migrate their existing data to the cloud analytics product.
  • Participate in KBR Communities of Interest / Centers of Excellence. Collaborate.
  • Establish relationships with cloud professionals in other parts of the KBR business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Five (5) years of analytics development experience, preferably with PaaS / SaaS applications.
  • Five (5) years of analytics development experience with Visual Studio/SSAS/Azure Analysis Service and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Four (4) years of experience with Azure PowerApps, including model and canvas driven apps)
  • Development of Azure logic apps and functions and analytics integration
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
  • Prior U.S. military experience preferred but not required.
  • Asset management / equipment reliability analysis experience referred.

Education

  • BS degree in Computer Science; MS preferred.
  • Completion of Basic and Advanced statistics coursework, or equivalent certification.
  • AI/ML certification strongly preferred.
  • Azure AI Engineer certification strongly preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • US Citizen with valid Passport.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance at SECRET level.
  • Willingness to travel - 25% travel expected.

Additional Skills and Experience:

  • Expert level knowledge of MS PowerBI.
  • Implementation skills applying basic and advanced statistical analysis (e.g., Weibull, Monte Carlo) and AI/ML analysis (e.g. deep learning / neural networks, ML algorithms such as classification, regression, clustering, and dimensional reduction analysis).
  • Ability to interact with coworkers at all levels in the organization.
  • Solid technical writing and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements.
