Job Description:

Vaxcom Services Inc. (a Parsons Company) is looking for an amazingly talented Armed Security Deputy Manager to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist the the Site Manager and perform manager duties in their absence.
  • Interface and act as liaison with multiple senior Government leaders.
  • Assisting in the directing, coordinating and overseeing all activities of the on-site security staff. Including supervisory, training, and operational functions at the assigned post in accordance with post orders and client instructions, and in compliance with all internal procedures.
  • Assisting in the coordination of all aspects of the security contract at the assigned location.
  • Assisting with supervising, coaching and training employees.
  • Conduct interviews, make hiring recommendations and execute site-specific orientations.
  • First point of contact regarding performance, operations, emergency response activities, and department needs.
  • Assist in scheduling and payroll coordination at assigned site.
  • Assist in maintain proficiency in the use of all assigned equipment and weapons.
  • Observes and reports activities and incidents, providing documentation to company management and Client representatives.
  • Prepare logs and reports as required.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Looking for candidates who would ideally have at least 3+ years experience leading and managing teams of 20+ people, working with clients, scheduling and project management.
  • College preferred. High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must have minimum, at least one of the following: (a.) six (6) months experience in a State licensed security services occupation (armed/unarmed guard, control room operator, etc.), (b) be a current or former member (honorable discharge) of the United States Armed Forces(c) • six (6) months experience as a Federal, State, or Municipal Law Enforcement Officer, or Dispatcher with successful completion of a police officer's basic training academy or an Associate's degree in a Security or Law Enforcement field.

Salary Range:

$81,500.00 - $142,600.00
