Location Atlanta, GA 30303
Duration : 3 month contract that could extend or go perm.
Shift time : Regular Business hours

Job Summary:
Desktop Support
Under supervision, assist customers with tier one issues or forward to second tier support for issues beyond their subject matter expertise. Work and communicate with state employees, internal customers, and/or external customers to provide information and services targeted to meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, printers, desk, and cell phones
  • Analyze staff needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost efficiency and accuracy
  • Execute documentation, implementation, testing, and administration, and ensure components meet business

needs and work together seamlessly

  • Implement applications and software upgrades and troubleshoot any performance issues
  • Train employees in using software and hardware, and provide technical support when needed.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Three years of experience in IT
  • Deep knowledge of operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery

procedures, and system performance monitoring tools

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
  • A+ Certification

Candidate(s) will need to provide proof of full vaccination(card). No boosters are necessary. Candidate will need to have the first dose within the first 30 days of employment.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $13.78 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
