GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Our client needs an experienced graphic designer to own the visual identity of their consumer marketing and product portfolio globally. Your work will involve designing materials that seamlessly communicate the brand, product and message. You will concept and execute bold, beautiful collateral for use around the globe as well as provide creative direction and feedback to internal and external partners. You will partner closely with marketing managers and cross-functional stakeholders to meet short turnaround times while managing multiple projects and deadlines. In addition, you have knowledge of physical products and printing techniques.
Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
- Create original gift card marketing assets (templates, style guides, etc.).
- Review designers' work and provide creative feedback to team.
- Act as ambassador for the creative team to cross-functional partners.
This will be a hybrid position based in San Francisco, CA. This role will be required to be on-site 2 days per week, with the ability to work from home the remaining days.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Concept and design consumer-facing assets for the client that will be placed in retail payment partner channels around the globe (both print and digital).
- Provide creative feedback to design team.
- Manage external design agencies as needed.
- Communicate and present conceptual ideas and designs within a cross-functional team.
- Support partner communications through visual storytelling and world-class templates.
- Successfully project manage requests and workload to meet critical project milestones.
- Own gift card physical product design, production art and technical documentation across regions and partners.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS in Graphic Design or related field (In lieu of degree, 8-10 years relevant work experience). 6 years of relevant work experience in graphic design.
- Proven experience designing beautiful assets for retail, consumer brands, or marketing campaigns.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and AfterEffects in particular).
- Strong attention to detail, keen eye for 'on-brand' implementations.
- Self-starter and effective problem solver who thrives in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
- Ability to communicate conceptual ideas and be open to feedback.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build good working relationships.
- Experience preparing physical product production files for manufacturing.
- Experience as project manager and/or creative lead a significant plus.
- Experience using Sheets and Slides.
- Must provide a portfolio or work samples with application.
The US base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually. Actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors that are unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, education, certifications and work location. This range may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus targets, benefits and/or other applicable incentives in addition to base salary.
