Specialist, Marketing


The Specialist, Marketing collaborates with MarCom team members and other internal departments to support all marketing and communications initiatives with outstanding people skills, creative thinking, and a passion to drive projects to completion quickly. The Specialist, Marketing will work directly with MarCom team leaders and outside agencies to create and deliver marketing programs associated with Conifer Health’s enterprise marketing plan that are focused on scaling the Conifer Health brand and supporting the growth and expansion of Conifer’s services and solutions.


This role reports to Sr. Director of Enterprise Marketing.


Responsibilities:

  • Understand and implement initiatives associated with the company’s marketing program through the following responsibilities:
  • Develop and/or support the development of service line content, as well as topical content across lines of business
  • Creates communications programs that effectively describe and promote Conifer and its services via brochures, website, or other promotional/campaign products.
  • Develops/updates sales presentations and respective content for sales enablement/training
  • Supports market intelligence capabilities, including competitor, product, and industry research
  • Develops and coordinates distribution of internal intelligence/reports based on information collected such as marketing trends, competition, new products, etc.
  • Supports marketing operations tool (Kapost) and works with MarCom team to coordinate direct marketing programs
  • Help MarCom team implement all event marketing and sponsorship/membership-related benefits
  • Required Experience:
  • Proven success implementing marketing initiatives and supporting MarCom team.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in marketing & communications support role required. Healthcare/Healthcare service provider-experience a plus.
  • Experience evaluating and assessing internal and external client needs and market needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or a related field.
  • Experience using Marketing Automation tools (Hubspot) and CRM tools (SalesForce.com) a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including powerpoint)
  • Strong people skills across all levels and functional areas of the organization.
  • Excellent communicator – well-spoken with excellent writing skills.
  • Positive attitude, leadership qualities, and flexible team-oriented approach to working with others.
