We are looking for a Master Scheduler who can help direct patient flow and staffing functions to facilitate superior, efficient patient care, while creating a master schedule for patient care services that meets the departmental and organizational manpower needs. This individual will help pursue operation efficiency across all of our clinics.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, create, analyze, and maintain an integrated Master Schedule for the entire clinic.
  • Comfortable with integrating and creating scheduling system(s), managing current software(s).
  • Manipulation of daily schedule data to reflect ongoing adjustments and changes.
  • Coordinate with Clinical Leadership daily to determine workflow and prioritization of
    Schedule.
  • Build capacity plans, model various scheduling scenarios and escalate long-term capacity or scheduling challenges.
  • Translate projected schedule & enrollment forecasts, incoming patient volume, and work scopes into a production plan with a time-phased build schedule and present to leadership.
  • Establish key performance indicators of master plan accuracy.
  • Identify the current planned level of patient volume and create strategic plans to meet the forecasted demand. Calculate lead times.
  • Manage workforce planning, load leveling, bottleneck scheduling, and utilize theory of constraints (TOC) for accurate scheduling.
  • Review any scheduling issues with clinical managers and determine necessary modifications, re-sequencing schedules when conflicts arise.
  • Create visual references / diagrams / graphics using schedule data to further describe the project plan, current and forecasted status’.
  • Coordinate schedule and priorities of administrative tasks, managing overtime and
    completion rates.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Engineering preferred.
  • Planning/Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification is highly preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience scheduling in a fast-paced environment, especially in
    manufacturing.
  • Experience in procurement, supply chain management, and financial planning and
    analysis will be a strong plus.
  • Expert level in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Excel and reporting data.
