Schedule & Working Hours:

This is a full-time exempt position scheduled Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 40 hours per week.

Job description:

OnSite Care is looking for an exceptional Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at our clinic in West Jordan, UT due to open in October 2023 with opportunities to begin working in August or September. Our model truly supports a "quality over quantity" approach to patient care. Our providers can spend thoughtful time with their patients without having to consider RVUs/production requirements. We do not see Medicare/Medicaid patients.

Basic job duties and responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and treating a wide range of illnesses and injuries, as well as providing vaccinations and preventative care.
  • Prescribing and administering medication.
  • Treat patients with common acute conditions, illnesses, or minor traumas.
  • Monitoring of chronic conditions, i.e., blood pressure checks, glucose monitoring, etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with standards of care and practice by all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in a medical treatment facility.
  • Refer patients to correct medical specialists or other practitioners when necessary.
  • Order diagnostic tests as applicable.
  • Assist patients to increase knowledge of specific conditions through individual and/or group educational opportunities.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted state NP/PA License and Federal DEA Registration are required.
  • 3-5 years of Family Practice experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus.
  • BLS/ACLS Certification
