Job Summary:
Verifies menu items for proper diet, establishes quality standards related to diet order, portion control and allergies. Receives and relays pertinent information between staff on the hot and cold trayline, call center staff, delivery staff, patient care units and other departments. Monitors timeliness of trays departing from trayline to ensure metrics are met in patient delivery related to time, temperature and overall quality. Relays information to supervisors for any quality concerns that would necessitate retraining of staff.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-3 years in health care food service. 1-3 years experience food quality control. Knowledge of nutrition through course work or experience.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
HS diploma or equivalent.
SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:
Interpersonal skills necessary to work with patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous manner.
