Description:Perform packaging engineering function for all ordnance and non-ordnance operations for Camden production facilities. Includes developing and implementing new packaging specifications, and modification of existing packaging specifications, both using best industry standards and practices, to improve safety, ease of handling, protection of the products, and meet all required government guidelines including full documentation.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related discipline
- Ability to obtain a DOD Secret Clearance.
- Good written, verbal, and email communication ability
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
The candidate must be a US citizen.
Desired Skills:
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of packaging engineering techniques and standard practices
- Knowledge of DOD requirements
- General understanding of shipping and transportation packaging requirements
- Ordnance familiarity
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
