Patient Service Rep- Front Desk
SUMMARY: Works directly with the Office Coordinator, Clinical Coordinator, as well as therapy staff to handle all functions of daily operations. Greets and schedules patients, intakes, and manage referrals. Check-in patients, answer phone in polite and timely manner, register patients, medical records, co-pay collections and deposits. Must provide the highest level of customer service and professionalism to patients and co-workers. Proficient in current software and maintains daily, weekly, and monthly reports for support staff as directed by supervisors. Works closely with all members of the therapy team to achieve financial and program objectives
Essential Job Functions:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. High School graduate or GED
2. Two years of secretarial experience preferred
3. Ideal candidates will have experience with billing, collections, ICDM-CPT coding, posting charges, data entry, knowledge of medical terminology preferred but not required.
4. Must possess organizational, verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills. Demonstrates a high level of integrity, trust and displays exceptional customer service
