Job Description

Passion Health Primary care is currently hiring an experienced Physician Assistants (PA)to join us in our outpatient practice office in Kemp/Seven Points TX. No hospital coverage is required.

Required Education and Licensure

  • Graduate from an accredited PA program
  • New Grads considered, prefer 2 years of experience in primary care practice.
  • Maintain Unrestricted License to practice as a PA
  • Ability to obtain DEA license

Duties consist of actual hands-on patient care and include the following:

  • Manage patient care in collaboration with the supervising physician to make treatment decisions.
  • Perform a physical exam, determine diagnosis, and a treatment plan
  • Order and review results of lab tests, imaging,
  • Chronic care management: diabetes, hypertension.
  • Evaluate the need for and order immunizations, age appropriate screening procedures:
  • Counsel and educate patients on topics such as chronic disease management, medications, and compliance
  • Primary preventive care for ages 12 months and up
  • Ability to perform Women’s Wellness Exams
  • Manage prescriptions and refills as needed
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Comply with the company policy

  • Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism, accountability, and service in interactions with patients and their families, other providers, and staff members
  • Be receptive to guidance and constructive criticism
  • Provide evidence-based care when prescribing medications and other treatments
  • Adhere to regulatory agency requirements, OSHA standards, and Universal Precautions regarding the infectious disease, hazardous materials, and use of PPE.
  • Comply with all HIPAA regulations
  • Maintain the security of Protected Health Information
  • Work as a team with the physician

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
