Job Description

This is a remote hybrid role. Primarily telecommute, candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance of Mercy Hospital Fort Smith and Mercy Hospital Rogers.

The Associate Recruiter is responsible for assisting in the active recruitment of physicians in all medical specialties. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Recruiters attend recruitment events on- and off-campus, representing Mercy. Is able to work independently, exhibit a professional appearance, make decisions and support all team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Searches, has initial contact, and screens candidates to include the collection of CVs and references
  • Plans visits and interviews
  • Prepares periodic summaries and reports of recruitment activities
  • Participates in meetings and events related to physician and provider recruitment
  • Utilizes search software and other appropriate resources
  • Participates in advertising and promotional activities to include the Internet,publications, bulletin boards, recruitment fairs, mailing lists, etc.
  • Prepares correspondence to candidates, System physicians, and administrators

Qualifications:

Education: Associates degree/BS preferred

Experience: Must have experience using personal computer and wordprocessing software. Must have 1+ year related experience. Previous Recruiting Experience preferred.

Other: Proficient in Microsoft, excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills, ability to work in team environment, handle confidential information and ability to relate with diverse population with varying socio-economics backgrounds. Analyzes data/problems/issues and recommends improvements based on data results/best practices.
