A leading Medical Device company in southern California is in immediate need of a Project Manager as a long-term Consultant for up to 18 months. There is hybrid flexibility to work remotely up to 2 days/week in San Diego. This position will be replacing a consultant who has recently retired.The Project Manager will be focused on supporting the production of existing disposable medical devices that are currently on the market and in production. The PM will lead design change projects and a critical material change project, he or she will need to have experience leading production initiatives for medical device companies. Other duties are focused on scheduling, budgeting, and correspondence with cross-functional teams.
Top Requirements:BS degree minimum
10+ years of Project Management experience, strong experience with disposable medical devices
Strong hands-on experience leading design change initiatives for production
Strong communication skills to be effective while overseeing cross-functional teams
Strong skills in managing project scheduled, developing and maintaining program budgets, and developing metrics
