This temporary position as an Advanced Technology Liaison will interface to Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) and Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) customers at all levels and therefore the candidate must be able to develop trust and relationships at the engineering levels through guidance. It is desired that the candidate has a technical background with prior experience in Radio Frequency or Electro Optical sensors and technical acumen to be able to convey and represent our targets and information related to Science and Technology programs.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Incubate and develop relationships, subcontractors and teammates, with the appropriate government agencies. Specific emphasis on Wright Patterson Air Force Base customers that include AFRL and AFLCMC.
• Identification, qualification and capture of opportunities and programs in the Science and Technology (6.1-6.3) and Prototype (6.4) market-place with an emphasis on advanced mission systems spanning all modalities including radio frequency (RF), electro optical / infrared (EO/IR), processing and cyber systems.
• Maximize customer satisfaction; support communication and public relation strategies and actions with external audiences.
• Capitalize on competitive intelligence and market data and clearly understand competitors’ strengths and weaknesses.
• Identify and monitor legislative impact on existing and future programs.

Qualifications you must have:

Existing relationships with WPAFB and AFRL.

Demonstrated business development experience with direct responsibility for captures and proposals with domestic Science and Technology customers.

Experience in the aerospace and defense industry with a focus on development and acquisition of advanced technology programs and contracts.

Education:

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience.

Clearance Requirements:

Active and transferable U.S. Government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. Citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

This is a temporary position of undetermined length.

The salary range for this role is $66.83 - $133.17; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills.
