Job Description: Job Summary

This Technology Recruiter invests in the future of Southwest’s People by managing the full life cycle of recruiting while maintaining strong relations with Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, Human Resources Business Partners, vendors, and Candidates in the Technology space. This role utilizes effective recruitment methods that are designed to deliver a qualified and diverse pool of Technology Candidates, develops and executes a staffing plan for individual requisitions, and maintains a high touch Candidate Experience. This Recruiter typically recruits for a broad range of professional positions but may specialize in sub-functional areas such as campus, contract, military, field or technical recruiting. The Technology Recruiter is excited to join the high-performing and integral Talent Acquisition Team, where they’ll have the opportunity to build strong relationships with internal and external Customers, learn and grow in their recruiting expertise each day, and pilot the future of the Southwest Family.

Additional details:
This role is offered as a regional workplace position and Employees must work in the region they support. This could require working from a mix of on-site Company facilities and remote based offices to perform the job function in a regional location determined by business need. Each Department will provide Employees with guidance on when and where presence is required with as much notice as reasonably possible .
Please note, while this is a regional position, there is limited group of states or localities ineligible for Employees to regularly perform their work off-site. Those ineligible locations are: Alaska, Delaware, New Jersey, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.
U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. is required, and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available.

Responsibilities
Responsible for recruiting and sourcing for talent in multiple technology areas: Architecture; Engineering (front-end, back-end, full stack, mobile), Advanced Analytics (Data Engineering, AI/ML Engineering, Data Science, Personalization); Platform Engineering (Cloud experience a plus); Network and Infrastructure; Cyber Security/Information Security (IAM, Cyber Threat, Risk, Governance); Technical Product Management and/or Technical Program Management.
Collaborates with strategic partners to develop effective and efficient recruiting strategies for specific roles to identify, evaluate, and select the best talent possible
Screening and assessing technical candidates for technical fit and skills, level of interest, qualifications, and salary expectations.
Conducting technical interview (phone and 1x1) evaluation criteria for each position; responsible for establishing and maintaining a consistent and effective interview and assessment process
Source Candidates through job postings, referrals, and direct sourcing using proactive tactics such as social network, networking events, and cold calling in order to attract active and passive Candidates
Develop comprehensive strategic recruiting and retention plans to meet the human capital needs of strategic goals
Work effectively in the applicant tracking system
Represent Southwest at job fairs and industry specific events by strategizing attendance schedules, setting up and tearing down, and preparing presentations in order to build a positive brand and source Candidates
Advise others on career or personal development
Coach and advise individual contributors on the development of competencies and skills needed to achieve Employee needs and future aspirations
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of principles and procedures for personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, labor relations and negotiation, and personnel information systems
Knowledge of technology trends, industry insights, employment market awareness for specific departments, market segments, disciplines, roles, and Technical acumen
Skilled in using Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to bring others together and trying to reconcile differences
Ability to understand the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
Ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
Ability to collaborate, influence, and communicate information and ideas across the organization to develop strategies, demonstrate solutions to meet needs, and gain buy-in and action
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Required: Intermediate level experience, fully functioning broad knowledge in Human Resources
Required: Technical recruiting experience

Preferred: Experience with Workday, Position Control, and/or Hiredscore

Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $80,350.00 to $89,300.00 per year * depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the
discretion of the company.
