We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a(n) Recruiting Coordinator within our Human Resources team to help support our Corporate business. As a(n) Recruiting Coordinator you will have the opportunity to work with employees across the business, as well as across the globe. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by helping our team hire top talent and helping new hires prepare for their first day. The team you will be working with is fast-paced, solutions-oriented and fun loving, and values both independence and effective teamwork.

So, what will you be doing as a(n) Recruiting Coordinator?

  • Processing invoices for service vendors, career fairs, and recruiting events
  • Maintaining training logs and supporting training material updates
  • Gathering and storing new hire details for onboarding
  • Initiating Background Checks and Drug Screens for new hires
  • Sending routine surveys for process improvement and coaching
  • Supporting interview scheduling
  • Coordinating travel for non-local candidates coming on-site for interviews
  • Registering for career fairs and recruiting events
  • Coordinating schedules and providing information for career fairs and recruiting events


To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational skills and sense of urgency
  • Strong communication skills both in writing (emails) and orally (phone / video calls)


Things we consider a plus:

  • Exposure to Microsoft 365 Applications (MS Forms, MS Bookings, Access databases, etc.)
  • Creativity and comfortable bringing new ideas for process improvements
  • Optimistic attitude and a solutions-focused mindset
