The Storeroom Attendant is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory, and ordering, issuing, and receiving plant supplies and materials.

The Storeroom Attendant will:

• Maintain accurate inventory levels in storeroom.
• Unload incoming material, unpack items, and verify packing slip for accuracy against purchase order.
• Research workflow purchase order discrepancies related to storeroom parts.
• Notify Controller and vendor contact of any short shipments, description variances, or any damage to incoming shipments.
• Place items on shelf and ensure tags on shelf are accurate and updated. Ensure items fit shelves and are easy to identify.
• Prepare items for shipment ensuring accuracy and adequate packaging while being cost conscious on shipping methods.

The Storeroom Attendant should:

• Have experience processing receipts and consumption using Enterprise Resource Planning software.
• Be highly detail-oriented and organized (data, inventory counts, etc.).
• Have strong communication skills to work with all departments in the plant.

• High School diploma required
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
• Must be able to operate storeroom hand truck, pallet jack, and forklift
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel and Outlook)
• Forklift certification preferred
• SAP experience preferred

The expected hourly rate for this position is between $22 - $28 per hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
