Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Aurora, Colorado. Relocation assistance available provided candidate meets eligibility requirements.

In this role you will be joining a team where our software engineers and architects are developing a new software system. Our complex domain requires creative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

Clearance Requirements:
An active Secret U.S. security clearance

Required Skills

• Experience with DevOps tools and concepts

• Experience with object-oriented software development using C++ or Java

• Experienced working in an Agile environment

Education and Experience:

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years' relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.

Desired Skills

• Experience with application frameworks

• Experience with containerization and microservices

• Experience programming in Python

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
