The
Client Solutions Consulting Senior Manager - Delivery and Operations develops and executes strategies to support the Cox Business legacy order management application (OPTIX) and operationally supports the Salesforce Platforms. The Client Solutions Consulting Senior Manager provides leadership across the technology delivery and support teams and engages regularly with our Cox Business and Salesforce (CB Force) Platform and Solutions Owners.
The Client Solutions Consulting Senior Manager is a valued and critical member of the IT delivery team, working with our Sr. technology team leaders. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and supporting complex IT programs and platforms. The right candidate will have experience in leading, mentoring, coaching others, especially offshore and 3PL teams.
There are several areas that the qualified candidate will be focusing on:
- Relationships: Building and maintaining relationship with key technology and business partners
- Resource Management , especially 3rd Party Labor (3PL) on and offshore
- Software Delivery: IT Software Delivery Team Management
- Operational Support: Managing operations team; building efficiencies; maintaining stable environments and platforms.
- Architecting: Working with Architects to design best solutions to business requests
- Executive presence: Representing Technology in key stakeholder discussions
- Oversight: Oversight of major IT systems supporting key business functions.
- Vendor management: Client Relationship/Customer Satisfaction, and Leadership.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Successful delivery and implementation of software
- Operational Support of both legacy and Salesforce (CBForce) applications
- Develop reports, project timelines, tasks, and resource plans
- Collaborate with project teams to address potential issues around scope, solutioning, and cost
- Collaborate with the leadership team to innovate and achieve company objectives
- Proactively work to improve our delivery and operational processes
- Proven ability to manage and foster a team-oriented environment.
- Executive Presence: Be a clear and consistent communicator with the team and with leadership
- Proactively sense and solve problems as they come
- Oversee and enable meaningful processes
Qualifications
Minimum:
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 8 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 6 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 3 years' experience in a related field; or 12 years' experience in a related field
- Experience in delivering in an Agile methodology, preferable Safe Agile
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization.
- Strong budgetary skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deliverables, and milestones
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
Preferred:
- Experience in presenting to and interacting with business partners and technology leaders
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities
- Experience managing offshore development teams
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high-tech environment juggling multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Experience leading software development teams, systems analysis teams and/or software architecture teams
- Experience in all phases of the SDLC
- Ability to lead technical design sessions; architect technical solutions aligned with business objectives; identify gaps
- Strong understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices
- Salesforce knowledge and experience, (Sales & Marketing clouds, Field Services, Service cloud)
- Experience in leading implementation of complex, integrated IT software
- One or more of the following Salesforce certifications or proven similar experience is highly desirable; Application Architect Certification, Data Architecture and Management Designer, Sharing and Visibility Designer, Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder
- Experience in implementing and running Customer Relationship Management, IT Billing, Field services platforms
- Experience in Vendor management
- Experience in telecommunications industry desired
- Technical Operations experience
