Our Opportunity:

Chewy is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our growing Pet Health Insurance (CarePlus) team in Bellevue, WA, Boston, MA or Dania Beach, FL. The CarePlus team’s mission is to make healthcare more affordable and accessible to pet parents. We own and deliver solutions enabling customers to intuitively discover, transparently compare, seamlessly acquire and frictionlessly use pet health financial services on and off-Chewy.

This role will give you the opportunity to use your ‘customer first’ mindset to develop and deliver differentiated products & services, as well as feature improvements to existing services, identifying and addressing unmet customer needs. You will partner with CarePlus and Chewy-wide engineering teams, Design/UX and Research, Business development/category management, Customer service, Legal/compliance, Chewy Healthcare teams, and key external vendors.

You will need to be:

  • Curious and dive into data to identify opportunities to improve our offering and develop solutions to ambiguous problems.
  • Exhibit judgement by balancing the tradeoffs of long-term strategic investment vs short term delivery.
  • Able to ‘influence without authority’ and align divergent internal and external stakeholder priorities to deliver your objectives.
  • Proficient in expressing your ideas and solutions using concise written communication.

What You'll Do:

  • Use your customer-first mindset to prioritize and deliver a defined set of objectives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Own product discovery and incorporate inputs from all stakeholders to develop a data-driven prioritization and trade-off analysis.
  • Provide concise written artefacts that effectively communicate adequate details based on the audience.
  • Iterate and independently develop impactful solutions to address unmet customer needs.
  • Define and analyze measures of success (KPIs) for the initiatives you deliver. Use the data to deliver knowledge and insight to the wider team.
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized roadmap for your product/feature suite ensuring product vision continually aligns with both customer and business goals.
  • Utilize and continually improve mechanisms to track progress and deliverables related to product/feature suite you own across all tech and non-tech tracks

What You'll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management or related field, eCommerce experience preferred
  • MBA or equivalent product management experience preferred
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights
  • Experience working on greenfield ideas from concept-to-launch and the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Position may require travel

Compensation & Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $107,000-$215,000. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant.

Non-exempt hourly team members accrue paid time off (PTO) while salaried-exempt team members have unlimited PTO, subject to manager approval. Non-exempt hourly team members in Fulfillment Centers and Customer Service are also eligible for additional unplanned unpaid time off (UTO). Team members will receive six paid holidays per year. Team members may be eligible for paid sick and family leave in compliance with applicable state and local regulations.
