This temporary position is a Senior Program Cost Controls Specialist reporting into the Engineering Finance organization. You will partner with the Mission Area Engineering Execution Lead and Chief Engineers to facilitate results; provide value added analysis and promote a culture of financial awareness and predictable performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Work across all Engineering Execution Finance to develop utilization metrics to assist Engineering meet Direct Contract Labor targets.
• Investigate areas of concern within Engineering Workforce Planning to close on workforce gaps and reduce engineering awaiting assignment.
• Work as a Subject Matter Expert in Earned Value to assist programs in times of challenging periods, such startup, re-baselining, transition from development to production, and closeout.
• Greater understanding of input from Mission Area AOPs and converting that data to real individual staffing plans on existing and future programs
• Use institutional knowledge to be a Finance Subject Matter Expert to Engineering
• Mentor and train new members in Engineering Execution Finance team.

Qualifications you must have:

• Experience with program controls and earned value management
• Experience analyzing financial forecasts, earned value, and productivity data and information to help ensure cost and schedule are tracked against the plan, identify root cause of any deviations, and facilitate course correction plans
• Experience working in a collaborative environment and experience with financial application and project management tool suites

Qualifications we value:

• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of SAP accounting software

Education:

Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience

This is a temporary position of undetermined length.

The salary range for this role is $53.85 to $113.46; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills.
