Summary/Objective
Senior Software Engineer needed to perform Software Systems Engineering tasks on Software Mission Assurance (SWMA). Software Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Lead on MDA Ground-Based Interceptors (GBI) program.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for IV&V of Boost Vehicle (BV) and Exoatmospheric Kill Vehicle (EKV)
• Review work packages to ensure requirements are adequately verified during test events
• Review objective evidence documents for technical accuracy
• Develop IV&V Plans for each BV and EKV build
• Apply comprehensive experience and knowledge of methodologies, theoretical concepts, principles, and practices in specific professional scientific or technical difficulties
• Support software test events; conduct hit analysis and generate IV&V plans, final analysis reports, and briefings for each software build
• Apply practical experience and academic knowledge of simulation and software development for Verification, Validation, and Accreditation duties
• Design systems and programs with complex algorithms to solve problems or questions
• Analyze functional requirements for hardware/software, as required
• Provide support for Research & Development, Simulation, and Software design development and implementation
• Plan, execute, and oversee engineering design or research activities

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science from an accredited college or university
• Twenty-two (22) years' relevant experience
