In this role as a Calibration / Metrology Technician III , you will be part of a team providing calibration of test and measurement equipment in research, development, and manufacturing environments. The role will report to a Quality Engineering Manager in the site Operations Quality organization. This role is an on-site role at our Medtronic Santa Ana facility.

A Day in the Life
As a Calibration / Metrology Technician III , you will collaborate with fellow Technicians and Engineers in the inspection and testing of electrical systems and equipment to locate and diagnose malfunctions, using visual inspections, testing devices and computer software. You will provide technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development. Using schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems. You will gather, maintain, format, compile, and manipulate technical data using established formulae and procedures, and perform detailed mathematical calculations.
