Vegetable and Butcher is a food startup making healthy eating remarkably simple by delivering fresh, flavorful, locally prepared meals to your doorstep. In less than five years, we’ve delivered more than 500,000 meals. And we’re just getting started.

We’re on a mission to help people [re]establish a more meaningful relationship with food—and trying to help save the planet along the way. Our meals come in compostable containers, and we deliver them in reusable cooler bags with reusable ice packs.

Our Fleet Team Delivery Drivers put the finishing, all-important touches on our production process. We are looking for ambassadors/drivers who are passionate about helping the planet, strive for a seamless customer experience, and want to experience a high-growth work environment. This is a part-time role for overnight deliveries with the opportunity to grow into a full-time job.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Pick up bags from our remote site in Arlington, Virginia
• Pack your vehicle with customers’ bags in an efficient and organized manner

• Navigate through an assigned route using a smartphone app, drop bags at customers’ doorsteps, and report delivery information

• Help organize and assist in other operations and logistics
• Collect bags from customer's and return then to remote site

Qualifications and Skills:

• Own your own vehicle
• Small parcel delivery experience preferred, i.e. UPS, FedEx, DHL, Amazon
• Current driver’s license (no CDL required)
• Clean motor vehicle record and background check
• A high level of comfort with GPS technologies and digital communications
• Enthusiasm for our company mission and values
• Attention to detail
• Passion for a great customer experience
• Ability to work overnight/early mornings (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and willingness to drive in any weather conditions
