• 5+ years experience in integrating complex embedded system hardware, software and firmware components
• Ability to work with QA, Software Integration, SW/FW development leadership teams for feature integration plans
• Demonstrated ability to drive several SW/FW components to deliver on schedule to build complex embedded chipset products
• Depth of knowledge in at least one technology area is expected in cellular/wireless
• Self-driven and comfortable in spanning across software, hardware, systems and commercialization skills.
• Ability to connect engineers and leadership teams across all levels to build consensus on technical solutions

This role requires the leader to put forth a clear daily & weekly plan for pulling together changes across various components. It involves working with various software, firmware, hardware, SW/FW integration, and QA teams as well as senior level collaborators to build consensus. This role also requires understanding of software/firmware dependencies on different hardware revisions and navigating plans to ensure the most efficient intersection of hardware/software components. Success in this role is clearly defined by forward movement of the development efforts towards preset milestones, and can be measured via integration and QA milestones every day. Some of the responsibilities of this role are: - Build short/long term plans for product integration of components while working with various software, firmware, hardware, SW/FW integration, and QA teams. - Executing and adapting the plan to the realities of daily execution around IP deliverables.

Bachelors, Masters or Ph.D in Wireless Communications or Computer Science or other engineering degrees.

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $179,000 and $309,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
