Job Details
-

• Perform office related civil engineering in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and city/town officials
• Be capable of producing high quality designs in AutoCAD / Civil 3D
• Tasks include:
• Preparing plans for commercial and residential clients
• Preparing road profiles and pipe designs
• Preparing permit applications
• Meeting with clients and municipal officials
• Design:
• Grading for individual and multiple lot sites
• Septic systems in accordance with “Title 5” requirements
• Stormwater management systems
• Subdivisions with permits, including roadways, drainage and sewer designs
• Perform:
• On-site inspection and report findings
• Volume calculations
• Drainage analysis for land development projects for both commercial and residential using Hydro CAD or similar product
• Work in a team environment with our licensed land surveyors, civil engineers, and support staff
• Manage:
• Continually changing priorities, workload and multiple projects simultaneously
• Civil projects including permitting, design, contract management, and as built close out
• Project delivery on time and on budget

Pluses

• Have experience designing and permitting land use and land development projects (residential and commercial)
• B.S. in Civil Engineering, and have your FE/EIT; a P.E. license is a plus, MA Soil Evaluator is a plus;
• Have experience designing septic systems in Mass following “Title Five” requirements;
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and storm water modeling analysis using Hydro Cad or similar product
• Proficient in site grading, road, sewer and drainage design
• Be proficient in the English language, both spoken and written and possess strong communication skills
• Have a valid driver’s license
