Job Description Summary:
Maximus is hiring a Network Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA! This is a full-time position, as a government contractor supporting one of our federal programs. Great culture, growth opportunities, and skill advancement!

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and recommend strategies, operations for monitoring, maintaining, and the evolving Cisco VoIP network infrastructure
  • Lead/participate in projects and operational tasks to support the VoIP network and security infrastructure needs.
  • Research, evaluate, recommend, and implement new VoIP network and VoIP security infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage and support VoIP network devices, including routine changes, patching, and troubleshooting.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning activities for VoIP.
  • Perform system changes, updates, and maintenance on the Cisco VoIP network (note, will require working off hours including some nights and weekends)

Required Skills:
  • Minimum degree required: Associate degree in Specialized Technologies & Computer Systems Specialist
  • Administering Cisco Unified Communications training (40 hours each) for both versions 11.5 and 12.5
  • Implementing Cisco Collaboration Cloud and Edge Solutions:
  • Implementing and Operating Cisco Collaboration Core Technologies focusing on SIP, QUBES, and Voice Gateways
  • Minimum 12 years of work-related experience

Desired/Preferred Skills:
  • Switch interface configuration skills
