UnityPoint Health – Eyerly Ball is seeking a Clinic Therapist for the Grinnell Hospital. Full-time position, Monday-Friday.

As a Clinical Therapist you are a critical part of a dynamic team providing engaging and evidence-based psychotherapy services to adults and children.

As a Clinical Therapist you will:

• Provide high quality individual therapy services for children and adults, attending hospital rounds, create treatment plans, and recommend therapy services to best match the client’s goals for a fulfilling life.
• Formulate individualized treatment plans for and with each patient.
• Provide education/information to patients, families, and referral sources.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.

Ideal Candidate:

• Critical to the success of this position is the ability to build professional, understanding, and trusting relationships with clients who may be experiencing mental health disorders.
• Ongoing passion about making a difference in the lives of those who have been touched by mental illness.
• Ability to practice good verbal and written communication skills with ability to complete case notes timely.

To be considered you’ll need:

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling.
• Current license as a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW).
• Prefer one year of inpatient/outpatient clinical mental health service.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
