THE ROLE

FivePoint Solutions is seeking to add an intermediate-level Data Modeler to their highly functioning team to bolster the organization's ability to use data to support critical business decisions. Our data modelers act as system analysts to design computer databases and data models used to turn complex organizational data into usable computer systems. They will utilize relational and dimensional databases to manage the flow of information within the our organization.

Preferably, the position would be working out of our Lexington, SC offices but consideration will also be given to remote candidates within the United States.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

In order to excel, the ideal candidate must be able to understand and explain business needs expressed in data models. They will enjoy

working with key project stakeholders to implement data strategies, build data flows and develop conceptual data models.

They will be a true "data-head", creating relevant data models using accepted professional procedures to ensure high data quality and limit any redundancies.

They will take it upon themselves to optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and emerging projects.

The ideal candidate will relish the opportunity in learning from our Data Architect and other with key project stakeholders to write complex queries and generate required report views, stored procedures, etc. If this sounds like you and you meet the requirement below, we would love to hear from you!

THE ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years in a similar capacity
• Strong SQL skills
• A degree is an asset, not a mandatory requirement
• Experience assisting with the management of a Cloud Database Infrastructure is an asset
• Must be a US Citizen eligible for CJIS clearance
• Must have a true love of data's power and understand how it can help us make key business decisions and assist our clients!
