We are hiring a Facilities Assistant, who under general supervision, perform a variety of duties including timely service, storage and distribution of supplies and records, and repair and maintenance of professional appearance of building and fixtures.

Business Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30AM – 5:30PM

Based upon business needs, our positions may require working flexible hours, including weekends.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years' experience in a clerical position.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements with or without accommodations.
  • Ability to meet driving requirement: Current CA state driver’s license, reliable transportation and current state liability auto insurance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associates' degree or equivalent.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Maintains a positive and professional behavior and image with Credit Union Members, staff, management, and board.
  • Maintains a professional appearance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; able to speak/hear to give/receive instructions and information to/from others in person and over the telephone.
  • Keeps all Credit Union and Member information confidential.
  • Establishes and maintains effective business relationships with staff in other departments.
  • Strong organizational skills, with high attention to detail.
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and work under pressure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Picks up mail from post office, sorts and distributes to credit union departments and branches for processing. Delivers outgoing mail to post office.
  • Troubleshoots routine problems and performs routine maintenance and minor repair of facilities and office equipment to include electrical, plumbing, lighting, drywall and painting, door hardware and locks, graffiti removal, and general handyman related requests.
  • Minor assembly and moves of furniture, equipment and fixtures as requested.
  • Assist Facilities Coordinator in placing orders with vendors for office supplies.
  • Assist other departments with special pickup and delivery requests.
  • Assist TAT and Marketing Departments with special requests, to include bolting down of Instant Issue machines, monitor arm and keyboard moves and installations.
  • Warehouse Management: Process requests for records/daily work; picks up materials from off-site storage facility and delivers to departments as requested; completes required documentation. Organization of new incoming storage boxes and equipment. Prepares boxes for timely permanent destruction.
  • Stocks lunchroom and copy machines with appropriate supplies at Greenleaf facility.
  • Complete understanding and active application of our Core4, Mission, Values, and Purpose statements.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

We support Pay Transparency and are a pay-for-performance organization that benchmarks base pay to the 50th percentile of market data.

Pay Scale: Min $16.54 / Min $18.99 / Max $21.88* an hour

  • Actual compensation will be based on geographical location, work experience, education and/or skill level.
