Job Description Summary:
The Supervisor will be responsible for managing assigned staff, developing and coaching staff to assure productivity, quality, attendance, and timeliness of work in the completion of assigned records in order to meet team’s SLAs. The Supervisor will oversee functions within the HR Service Center, including: HR Phone Assistance, Chat Assistance, and the Ticketing Portal. The Supervisor will also be responsible for managing the workload of their team, in addition to training the team on new tasks and assisting with process improvement and development within the HR Service Center.
Job Summary:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages assigned staff, develops, and coaches staff to assure productivity, quality, attendance, and timeliness of work in the completion of assigned records in order to meet team’s SLAs.
- Supervisor will be responsible for adjusting the team’s work schedules based on business needs and ensures the staff is working the appropriate hours.
- Reviews, approves, and signs timecards on daily and weekly basis as required in the timekeeping policies.
- Supervisor will be responsible for assigning and distributing work and re-distributing when team members are out of the office and fills in as needed.
- Supervisor will provide guidance and thorough training to new staff, ongoing training to current staff as needed and will be available to answer questions throughout the process.
- Supervisor will conduct, daily, weekly and monthly audits on the tickets in the queue and in process to ensure all records are completed in a timely manner and without errors.
- Recommend, complete and deliver corrective actions as applicable.
- Elevates any adverse information to the proper channels for review, does not wait to avoid delays.
- As needed, coordinates follow-up actions with the local HR/Recruiting staff.
- Maintains a high degree of accuracy and organization to minimize errors.
- Attends team meetings to share progress.
- Assists Teammates with their workloads and acts as a team player.
- Maintains a professional demeanor especially during difficult and stressful situations
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant staffing and human resources procedures and practices, and relevant labor laws.
- Maintain schedule flexibility due to business needs; anticipate schedule changes at any time.
- Evening and weekend hours are required based on business needs.
- Perform other duties as assigned and participates in special projects as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in related field and 3-5 years related professional experience required; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years of related human resources experience.
- 3 years of supervisor or leadership experience required.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management.
