Job Description


Job Responsibilities:

Inventory Management

  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Perform necessary daily inventory adjustments together with month-end adjustments to close the month’s financials
  • Create, analyze, and maintain reports related to inventory for month-end reporting
  • Work with other departments to identify obsolete inventory
  • Maintain artificial storage deficits in inventory
  • Create and maintain accruals for inventory
  • Perform bi-monthly cycle counts at sub-contractors
  • Record all inventory movement requests for auditors

Controlling

  • Create and report daily sales and production reports
  • Calculate and report direct headcount efficiency. Provide details on the reported figures, when necessary

Logistics

  • Support Warehouse Supervisor at assigned special projects
  • Act as Warehouse Supervisor proxy, when necessary
  • Coordinate Permanent Stock Taking and perform the necessary positive and negative adjustments of stock on hand

Other Workplace Considerations:

  • Flexibility to work in different areas and support planned 1st and 2nd shift hours, if necessary
  • Full-time job to be performed 80% on-site once trained (when required, will be 5 days per week, on-site)

Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • 2+ years of Microsoft Excel experience (i.e. pivot tables, formulas, charts, etc.)
  • 0 - 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, inventory analysis, cost analysis, controlling, or logistics/supply chain

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management
  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • Strong written, verbal communication, and a demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics
  • Positive interpersonal skills
  • Have the ability and willing to learn and navigate web based systems and technology platforms, including SAP
  • Power BI is a plus
