The mission of the Role: The purpose of this role is to lead the development and execution of strategic marketing efforts, implementing activation across global markets. The oversight of these responsibilities is geared toward maximizing brand effectiveness and deepening awareness of the brand.
Key Accountabilities / How You Will Spend Your Days
- Bring our brand purpose and corporate goals to life by building internal and external programs to support the evolution of our company strategies.
- Responsible for managing the company brand, which includes developing and implementing brand strategies, maintaining brand guidelines, and long-term planning based on sound analytics and insights.
- Lead the development of insight-driven, best-in-class, full-funnel integrated marketing programs (from brief to post-launch analysis) with internal teams and external agency partners.
- Partner with the talent acquisition team on recruitment marketing campaigns, developing content that consistently communicates our employee value proposition in Visteon’s voice and tone.
- Coordinates content updates of Visteon.com with internal and agency partners to reflect Visteon’s evolving brand and product offering.
- Partner with Social Media Manager and external agencies as a brand expert to ensure social media plans reach key audiences, meet brand goals and incorporate on-brand creative.
- Lead audience segmentation efforts to ensure we are developing personalized content that resonates with and engages our target audiences.
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the consumer, category, competition, and trends and transform them into insights and opportunities to grow the brand.
- Responsible for managing calendar, timelines & budget; determines the structure of regional marketing shareouts.
- Partner with corporate communications stakeholders to identify internal content that could be leveraged on other channels for employer brand storytelling.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- 5+ years of brand marketing experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in brand management, creating, executing, and ensuring consistent implementation of a company-wide brand strategy with a track record for having developed and successfully executed creative multi-media marketing programs.
- Expertise in managing agency relationships. Integrated communications experience, strategic alliance development, and strategic planning.
- Excellent presentation and storytelling skills with a focus on delivering marketing strategies and plans to a variety of internal and external audiences.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, quantitative analytics, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritization.
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written – at all levels of management.
- Ability to build bridges and alliances with business partners – managing expectations and adeptly communicating strategies and tactics throughout the company.
- Demonstrated experience using analytics to make fact-based decisions that improve the effectiveness and the efficiencies of all marketing activities.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate and influence effectively across cross-functional global teams.
- Ability to operate independently and operates with equal parts imagination and execution.
- Solid understanding of global markets.
