Software Product/Project Manager for Pharmaceutical Compliance Software



Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced applicant to help us develop and deliver pharmaceutical compliance software products to our clients. The ideal candidate will have both knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations, suspicious order monitoring practices and possess or the ability to learn software project/project management skills. They will also possess communication skills to help translate customer requests into use cases for our development team.

This is a full-time remote position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, use case design and deployment of software products that comply with pharmaceutical industry regulations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, business analysts, developers, and quality assurance personnel to define and refine product requirements and use cases
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that could impact product delivery or quality
  • Conduct regular project status meetings and provide progress reports to stakeholders
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and customer focus
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards, including ISO, DEA, FDA and state regulations
Work Experience Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical regulatory management
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry regulations and compliance requirements and relevant standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with project management
  • Experience with project management tools, such as Jira, a plus a plus
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches a plus
  • 5 years of experience in software product/project management a plus
Other Qualifications:
  • Microsoft Office suite competency including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Staying organized while effectively prioritizing multiple projects at once.
  • High attention to detail when completing projects.
  • Strong time management skills to complete projects by deadlines.
  • Self-motivated individual who takes ownership of their projects.
  • Maintain excellent verbal, writing, and language skills.
