Job Description
Overview:
The Architectural Project Manager will grow Sheffield Metals’ brand by gaining approval from the architectural community in-order-to influence specification-driven work, while managing the project lead program in effectively distributing project leads to the sales teams.
Responsibilities:
- Successfully introduce Sheffield Metals to architects and designers by delivering our approved AIA Continuing Educational Systems (CES) Lunch and Learn programs
- Assist in the creation, design, and development of future CES programs
- Extensively network with the architectural communities to gain support for the listing of Sheffield Metals as an approved manufacturer
- Utilizing Sheffield Metals’ project lead program, efficiently search and qualify projects with potential for the substitution with a Sheffield Metals’ roof or wall product
- Work within Sheffield Metals’ CRM to enter and track qualified projects from the leads program, in-order- to measure performance of the Architectural Department
- Support the Technical and Architectural Departments in representing Sheffield at appropriate conferences and expositions
- Work closely with the sales team and their customers in support of distributing leads, qualifying leads for potential substitution or training on the architectural process of a successful substitution request.
Qualifications:
Education
- A high school diploma or GED is required
- Industry certifications such as CDT, CCPR or LEED-Green Associate preferred.
Experience & Skills
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and function at a high level in a constant changing environment
- Proficient at delivering AIA Continuing Education or Sheffield-specific technical presentations
- Background in working with CRM preferred, but not required
- Background working with on-line Project Lead Services such as CMD, iSqft, Bluebook Bidscope, or Dodge reports to search and secure projects for Sheffield product consideration
- Strong analytical, conceptual, planning, written and verbal communication skills required
- Overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office) required
- Must successfully complete a criminal background check, physical, drug screen and E-verify
