Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Sanitation person carries out responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable rules.
• Must meet with supervisor on a daily basis communicating any issues associated with sanitation duties.
• Ability to safely handle all sanitation chemicals/cleaning agents.
• Perform all sanitation tasks as needed to ensure quality food safe products are produced.
• Maintain daily sanitation reports noting reasons for any uncompleted task from the plan.
• Assistance will be required to ensure that Safeway Richmond is in compliance with all government regulations
• Ensures that daily records are maintained.
• Must possess the ability to follow all standard operating procedures (SOP's).
• Will assist in the organization of plant /warehouse to maintain a 5-S rating of an “A”.
• Positive attitude and availability to work on any shift.
• Work safely at all times
• All other duties as assigned
